Bringing literature to life has been the focus of the Huntsville Literary Association (HLA) since 1967. HLA sponsors, often in partnership with other organizations, a spectrum of literary activities and events for anyone who delights in books, poems, and plays.
HLA's 2024 Young Writers Contest
The Huntsville Literary Association is pleased to announce the winners of our 56th annual Young Writers Contest. We wish to congratulate the winners and express our appreciation to all the participating students and their parents and teachers.
HLA is an all volunteer, non-profit organization with hundreds of members from the North Alabama area.
Annual dues and grants are the primary source of income for HLA’s successful programs.
