Bringing literature to life has been the focus of the Huntsville Literary Association (HLA) since 1967. HLA sponsors or partners with other groups to bring a spectrum of literary activities and events for anyone who delights in books, poems, and plays.

HLA is an all volunteer, non-profit organization with hundreds of members from the North Alabama area. Annual dues and grants are the primary source of income for HLA’s successful programs.
